Ron has 40+ years of professional experience in Corrosion Engineering Design, Project Management and Construction Management.
His experience includes design, project management and construction management for oil and gas pipelines, water/wastewater facilities, power generation facilities, offshore facilities and reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures. In addition, Ron has had extensive experience in the development of asset management, preventative maintenance programs and pipeline integrity management for oil and gas gathering facilities, oil and gas production facilities, oil and gas transmission, and distribution facilities.
Ron has published over 15 technical papers and presented over 200 technical presentations. He was the editor for the 2nd Edition of the Peabody book titled “Control of Pipeline Corrosion” and is currently developing the 3rd Edition of Peabody.
Ron is currently involved as an Expert in 4 active litigations, and has been deposed and has had trial court experience in over 20 cases. Many of those cases have involved regulatory compliance issues and pipeline failure including oil and gas, water systems and building plumbing issues.
Since 1994 David has been a Corrosion Engineer or Corrosion Scientist with major corrosion consulting companies, utility operator and top-ranked research institutes / universities. David has extensive knowledge and practical experience in cathodic protection, erosion, synergistic effects of electrochemistry and mechanics, manufacturing and micro-structural analysis of coatings and thin films, high temperature coatings (metals, intermetallics and ceramics), electrochemistry and its applications, metallic nano-structures, failure analysis and mechanical property testing of engineering materials, and surface analysis.
David's most recent experience includes corrosion engineering, pipeline integrity, construction, coating inspection and cathodic protection design and implementation. Typical structures include but not limited pipeline, refinery, water, wastewater, concrete, infrastructure, offshore, marine, above and underground storage tanks.
